GoNanny (referred to herein as “we,” “our,” or “us”) has adopted this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to describe how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by GoNanny when you use the GoNanny website located at (“Website”), the GoNanny mobile application, and any related tools, web sites and services provided in connection therewith (collectively, the "Service").

  • Information You Provide Us - We collect certain personal information you provide to us when you submit an application, register for account, create or edit your profile, upload content, fill out a form or survey, make a purchase, pay for or accept payment for services, participate in interactive features of the Service, connect or communicate with us via third party social media sites, send us an email, request customer support or otherwise communicate with us or other users through the Service. The types of information we may collect include basic contact information (e.g. name, email address, present and past postal addresses, zip code, mobile number), drivers license information, location, work history, demographic information, photographs, video, information you post to social media and credit card and other payment and bank information you provide to us.  

  • Information Collected Automatically - We may automatically collect certain information when you access the Website. This information may include, for example, information about the type of browser and operating system you are using, your Internet Protocol address or “IP address” and information about the advertisements you view and whether you respond to an advertisement. You may also permit the Service to import such information or otherwise upload such information for your use within the Service or so that you may invite your contacts to use the Service or participate in other referral services. This information may include, but is not limited to, such third party’s name and basic contact info, as well as Facebook ID.

  • Location Information – We may collect geolocation data pertaining to your computer or mobile device. We may collect this information using your device’s GPS data (where available), IP address, Wi-Fi hotspot data, and cell tower locations. This data may consist of precise latitude/longitude coordinates and may be linked to a device or advertising identifier.

  • Mobile Analytics - We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our mobile application on your phone. This software may record information such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, performance data, and where the application was downloaded from.

  • Collection of Information by Third Party Sites: The Website may contain links to other sites whose information practices may be different than ours. Visitors should consult the other sites’ privacy notices as we have no control over information that is submitted to, or collected by, these third parties. Additionally, this Policy does not cover information that you submit on other websites, even if we communicate with you on those sites. For example, if you post something on Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube, that information is governed by the privacy policies on those websites, and is not governed by this Policy

  • With third party service providers, such as payment processors, that help us provide our products and service or provide the Service on our behalf;

  • With a nanny in order to provide details and instructions regarding the Services to be provided;

  • With our affiliates, subsidiaries or parent companies;

  • In response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with any applicable law such as to comply with a subpoena, regulation or legal process, or as otherwise required by any applicable law, rule or regulation;

  • If we believe your actions are inconsistent with the spirit or language of our user agreements or policies or that such sharing is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property and safety of GoNanny, its users, it employees, or others;

  • Proactively with local, state and federal law enforcement and/or with other web and mobile marketplaces if we believe there is harm to another user, the child(ren) of another user or the general public;

  • As may be required or permitted pursuant to any applicable law, rule or regulation or court or administrative order;

  • In connection with an actual or potential merger, sale, acquisition, assignment, or transfer of all or part of our assets, affiliates, lines of business, or products, including at bankruptcy;

  • With your consent or as otherwise disclosed to you at the time of collection; and

  • If you provide your consent, we will use and share your location information to enable you and other users to use your location to determine which users in their network are nearby and to determine the location of another user. We may also use location information to provide information and advertising to users.

Your Choices

  • Managing Your Account and Access to Your Personal Information - Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to and receive details about the personal information we maintain about you, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal data, and have the information blocked or deleted, as appropriate. You may access, update or correct your profile information at any time by logging into your account. If you wish to delete or deactivate your account, you may do so by emailing, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a certain period of time.

  • Opting Out of Email Marketing: You may unsubscribe from our promotional emails at any time by following the instructions included in those emails. Please note that if you choose to opt out of receiving such communications, we may continue to send you non-promotional emails (such as payment confirmation).

  • Restricting Cookies - Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You may be able to refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you refuse our use of cookies, you may not be able to use the full functionality of the Site.

  • Location Information - If you do not want to provide your location to us, please use the settings available on your mobile device to limit this sharing. Please note that if you limit sharing of your geolocation data, certain features of the mobile application may not work.

  • Push Notifications - We may send you push notifications from time-to-time in order to update you about any events or promotions that we may be running. If you no longer wish to receive these types of communications, you may turn them off at the device level.

Children’s Online Privacy

Our Website is not directed to children under the age of 13 and children under the age of 13 should not use the Website. We do not intentionally collect or maintain information collected online from children under the age of 13.

Changes to this Policy

We may change this Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. We will inform you of any changes to this Policy by posting a revised privacy policy on this Website and in the mobile application with a new effective date. We encourage you to review our privacy policy periodically to make sure you understand our practices with respect to your information.
